There are some plants that suffer from the toxicity of aluminum to come - some ferns and orchids in my mind. Most plants tolerate aluminum - loamy soils are mainly of ore with low aluminum content.

As always forget you do not try to put some holes in the ground for drainage. Plants rarely survive in undrained containers for long.
